Jordan’s 1st birthday

Jordan's 1st birthday was a success!  Well, it was in my opinion.  A lot of people showed up and stayed for a long time.  Jordan had a blast!  It's great that he's been walking for a couple of months because he got to run around just like the other kids.  He made a green mess out of his cake and face and was so cute doing it!  He got a lot of toys and just as many clothes.  He got some money so Corey and I went to buy him some more clothes so he will be set for winter.  It was a wonderful and sad day.  For all my myspace family that was at the party, Thank You so much for making Jordan's 1st birthday a special day.  We love you all so much!

75th SEC Championship game

Ok, I know that Tennessee lost the SEC Championship game on Dec 1, 2007, but I don't care!  I was there at the game and had a blast!  Before the game we went to a pregame type bash that had all sorts of vendors giving out free things and everything was dedicated to Tennessee and LSU.  There was a pep rally and it was awesome!  I haven't been to pep rally since high school.  To all you Tennessee fans I feel your pain about our loss(I blame it all on Eric Ainge!), but at least we went to the game and not Georgia!

The greatest husband in the world!

I have the greatest husband in the whole wide world!  I ordered the new Harry Potter book (deluxe edition)  about a month and a half ago.  Which the deluxes aren't that cheap!  I had to order it from the publisher because all the book stores were sold out of the deluxe edition already.  Unfortunately, with the publisher they don't guarantee that you will get the book on the release date.  So I figured I wouldn't get it this past saturday when it came out.  I was supposed to get an email when they shipped it out.  Well, I never got an email, but I saw where they had taken the money out of my checking account.  Most of the time they ship it when they charge you.  Well, not in this case.  I called this morning to see if it had been shipped yet and it wasn't shipped until this morning (monday, 2 days after release date).  And they said I wouldn't get it for 4-7 business days.  I was so upset because everyone in the world now knows how the Harry Potter saga ends and I don't.  I bet my best friend is on her 2nd run of the book already.  I've had to avoid watching much tv and getting on the internet this weekend so I didn't find out what happens before I get to read the book.  Anyway, so I called Corey crying because I wasn't going to get my book for a while still.  And he made the sweetest comment I've heard in a while.  He told me if I wanted to I could go buy the regular copy at Wal-Mart.  When I mentioned that this weekend he said no because I would be getting the book.  I guess he figures since it's going to take longer it's ok to go on and get the cheaper one now.  I love him so much!  I didn't even have to mention it today, he offered on his own.  I wish every woman could be married to a man as thoughtful and loving as mine!  Now, I've gotta go read my book!  Cya!

The Nickelback concert on 3-22-07

Nickelback was supposed to play in Gwinnett last friday, but had to postpone it until last night.  I got the tickets because the people who originally had them had already made reservations to go to the beach for yesterday.  They paid $150 for each ticket and since it was such short notice I got the tickets for $25 each.  What a deal!  So my sister in law and I went to the concert.  Chad Kroeger is my crush right now and I was super excited!  Ashley (my sister in law) had never been to a concert, so I knew we would have a lot of fun.  Three Days Grace was the opening act and they rocked.  But nothing will ever beat Nickelback.  The fire, the cannons and all the fireworks and pyros were amazing!  And the band rocked majorly.  I loved Nickelback before the concert, but love them even more now.  They are so different than what I thought.  I always thought they were a kind of mellow band, but I was wrong.  They know how to party!  I suggest anyone who likes rock n roll to go see them in concert sometime.  It was the best concert I have ever been to in my whole life, and I've been to a lot of concerts.
